About the Role

The Senior Analyst QA Operations will report to the Manager within the Marketing Data Platforms Team. The team carries out a variety of functions that ensure the proper collection of customer data to support key lifecycle activities such as billing, price increases, and customer communications. You will be responsible for developing and executing test strategy of the e-commerce workflows of Journal, Barron's, Marketwatch, and Professional Memberships. You will partner with other teams under Enterprise technology to validate customer experience , product expectation and play an active role in setting the test strategy and execution of end to end testing against the product roadmap. You will be based in our Princeton, New Jersey office.

You Will:Work with the Offer Managers on the team to understand the process for creating new acquisition promotionsWork with key Marketing stakeholders and Business Analysts during Requirement AnalysisCreate and manage a test framework for validating the customer experience during and post subscription processCreate and maintain clear and concise documentation around test plans, test results, schedules, milestones and deliverablesWork with cross-functional development team to understand how they are building out functionality and the systems that are impactedDesign positive and negative test cases for validating the customer experience prior to each technical releaseSupport each technical release and perform validation on the functionality - pre and post releasePrepare and deliver reports and recommendations that address existing and potential areas of improvement within the QA processEffectively communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve quality to Program Director and stakeholdersYou Have:

4-7 years of QA experienceKnowledge of the ecommerce, direct to consumer spaceExperience in manual testing with agile conceptsAbility to drive UAT/ QA test strategy and test plansExperience in test case creation, execution, and documentation for integration testingExperience with defect management tools, preferably JIRAProject management skills to adequately plan testing around key release datesStrong technical skillsAttention to detail and proficient quality assurance abilitiesQuick problem solving skills to address roadblocks and production issuesDetail Orientation and are a Self-starterStrong written and oral communications neededKnowledge of technical infrastructure, technology testing and databases a plusKnowledge of Agile processes a plusPublishing industry experience desiredOur Benefits

Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000
