Team: Corporate IT
Our corporate IT team is looking for a motivated, energetic individual, who enjoys working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. We support all internal IT services across all our worldwide locations.
The desktop support engineer will work directly with multiple internal teams, technology departments and back-office departments to support and maintain business critical systems, infrastructure and configure cloud applications across FlexTrade's global footprint.
Job requirements
Professional experience supporting, configuring, and installing Windows 10, 11, and MAC OSX workstations in physical and virtual environments.Must have experience; troubleshooting MS Outlook O365 email and other MS Office applications such as Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Conduct audits on existing hardware and software to verify authorized use and maintain inventory of all hardware and software.Maintain established standards and criteria for the performance of networks, PCs, and related equipment and software.Support and troubleshoot mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.Business application skills in MS Teams (VOIP), Active Directory, O365, Lansweeper, etc.Develop and maintain detailed and accurate documentation of Flextrade systems and processes.Develop and maintain accurate records of all systems and software assets and inventory.Ability to manage projects, prioritize workload, and multitask. Maintain patches, hotfixes, and virus updates for PC security and third-party applications using MS Intune and other platforms.Base understanding of networking principles such as LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, WIFI, and TCP/IP protocols.Additional Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in Computer Science or related fieldExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in teams as well as independently.Strong Attention to detail.Proactive and shows initiative in completing projects or tasks with little supervision.Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management.A Financial Technology background with experience working in mission-critical environments is helpful but not required.
