Remote DH Sr Epic Analyst - Healthy Planet Needed for Large Hospital in IN
Our client, a large hospital system in Columbus, IN, has a need for a Remote Senior Epic Analyst who specializes in Health Planet, an accountable care and population management system. The hospital’s Information Services Department is a state-of-the-art data center. The unit has a team-goal oriented staff. Under supervision of the IS Manager, the Snr Epic Analyst gathers and analyzes user needs for developing, designing, and modifying clinical or business applications in the healthcare environment. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Main Responsibilities:
Provides complex Epic application supportWrites documentation and specifications.Researches and analyzes complex results, proposes solutions or recommendations in addition to the building, configuring or modifying applications using existing application tools.Must have broad knowledge of application integration and data flow.Serves as an informal leader and must be willing to teach or mentor as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma with 7 years of experience in a health-related or IS related field, or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience in a health related or IS related field requiredEpic Healthy Planet Certification RequiredExperience with multi-application integration and system inter-dependencies.Experience with cross-discipline healthcare processes and workflows.
