Role: Senior ITIL Practitioner- ServiceNow Specialist Location: Sacramento, California (Hybrid) Duration: 2 Years USC OR GC HOLDERS ONLY MUST BE ON OUR W2 We are seeking a Senior ITIL Practitioner - ServiceNow Specialist for a 2-year minimum hybrid assignment with our Sacramento, California based client. Responsibilities Include: • Utilize 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an ITIL practitioner in Infrastructure services or Application Management to drive IT Service Management (ITSM) initiatives within the organization. • Configure the ServiceNow platform to meet the specific needs and requirements of the business. • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical experience across various applications and modules of the ServiceNow platform including Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management. • Develop a strong understanding of configuration management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Service Catalog functionalities. • Build and implement complex solutions, including integrations with multiple third-party systems to streamline processes. • Implement IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes, with a desire to expand expertise into other modules such as IT Business Management (ITBM). • Apply solid engineering practices to design and implement IT solutions that align with business objectives. • Communicate effectively and present technical solutions to both technical and business stakeholders. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ITIL principles, with ITIL certification considered a plus. • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to support end user requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Possess relevant ServiceNow certification to showcase expertise in the platform. • Leverage knowledge and experience working with California state agencies, departments, and Federal and State programs and organizations. • Identify structural issues within the organization, recommend improvements, and drive efficiencies in technical infrastructure. • Visualize and create high-level models to aid in future analysis and mature business architecture. • Develop and implement effective organizational governance structures to ensure alignment with business goals and strategies. Requirements: • Proven 3 to 5 years of experience as an ITIL practitioner in Infrastructure services or Application Management. • Hands-on experience configuring the ServiceNow platform. • In-depth knowledge of various ServiceNow applications and modules, particularly Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management. • Familiarity with configuration management, CMDB, and Service Catalog practices. • Experience building complex IT solutions with integrations across multiple third-party systems. • Proficiency in implementing ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM processes, with additional knowledge in ITBM preferred. • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL; ITIL certification is a plus. • Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders to meet end user requirements. • Relevant ServiceNow certification is desirable. • Exposure to California state agencies and Federal and State programs. • Ability to identify organizational inefficiencies and drive improvements in technical infrastructure. • Proficiency in creating high-level business models and implementing effective organizational governance structures.
