Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers may be considered depending on experience levelPatient Population: Adults to GeriatricsCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS Required; NIH PreferredGeneral Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses - general MS and possibly inpatient hospice; Charge experience is a plus; Since this is a smaller facility, MS will be required to have ACLS certification to run any codes until coverage from the ER arrives to the unit; No IV Team, Wound Care will be done virtually, No Cafeteria - Vending machines will have meal options; Parts of Orientation will take place at the Main Augusta campus approximately 3 miles down the road.Ratio / Census: 1:6; 12 BedsUnit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, SpacelabsScrub Color: Royal BlueRTO: MAX 7 daysWeekends: Every other weekendFloating: Possibility of floating to the Main Augusta campus located approximately 3 miles down the road.Call Requirements: NoneHolidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
