SUMMARY:
Responsible for producing product in a productive manner, delivering quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Visually inspect the product for any non- conforming areas, and set aside any non-conforming productsEnsure adequate quantities of product are supplied to fill ordersMaintain working knowledge of processing equipment operation, processing specifications, and labeling requirementsEnsure clean, sanitary, and safe work practices, tools, and areaMaintain knowledge of USDA and HACCP requirementsFlexibility to do all jobs on the line through rotationBe willing to be cross trained within department to cover responsibilities if requiredOther duties as assigned/neededSkills & RequirementsREQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions in EnglishHave basic mathematical skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work on production floor; a wet, cold, and loud environmentAbility to frequently lift and move up to 50 poundsPrevious food manufacturing experience a plusCompany Overview
