Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology Job Specialty: Vascular Interventional Radiology RN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: WV or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable but must be active before starting) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (via American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Willingness to work every other weekend- Ability to respond to call-outs within 30 minutes- Knowledge and skill in moderate sedation administration with physician oversight- Experience with sheath pulls and neurovascular checks Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care in the interventional radiology unit.- Manage patient care in a 1:1 ratio in Labs and 4:1 in the Holding Area.- Administer moderate sedation under physician oversight.- Perform sheath pulls and conduct neurovascular checks.- Work effectively during weekdays and every other weekend.- Participate in 16 hours of orientation and complete required modules.- Follow all infection control and medical safety protocols.- Adhere to the policy on mandatory flu vaccinations during flu season.- Comply with the travel radius requirement and other facility guidelines.
