Quality Inspector

A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Quality Technician to support their team out of Fort Walton Beach, FL. This individual will inspect different electronic components daily to make sure there are any defects or issues. The Quality Technician's role is to ensure the exceptional quality of our products while maintaining stringent safety standards and upholding ISO 9001, AS9100, and other required quality benchmarks throughout our operations.
Essential Job Functions
1. Masterful Inspections: We need an expert in conducting meticulous mechanical and electrical inspections to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
2. Data Management Pro: Managing quality data and documents to facilitate effective decision-making is a key aspect of this role.
3. Audit Guru: The ability to conduct process audits and root-cause analysis is crucial to identifying areas for improvement and maintaining quality excellence.
4. Path to Perfection: Your recommendations for corrective and preventive actions will be instrumental in elevating our quality standards to new heights.
5. Packaging Perfectionist: Ensuring compliance with packaging and shipping processes is essential to meeting contractual requirements.
6. Analytical Support: We need your analytical prowess to assist in process and procedure analysis, contributing to our quest for continuous improvement.
7. Self-Inspection Advocate: Your role will involve implementing and supporting a self-inspection program as a cornerstone of our quality assurance strategy.
8. Tech-Savvy Documenter: As we move towards a paperless manufacturing environment, your adeptness at computer-based documentation will be invaluable.
9. Reliability: Demonstrating 100% attendance at the assigned worksite during designated hours is a non-negotiable aspect of this position.

HS Diploma3 years of experience inspecting electronic equipmentmilitary/defense environment experienceA minimum of 1 year experience with MIL-STD-45662/ANSI Z540-1 calibration systems and ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-A610, IPC-A-620 production environments
