Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed) Must-Have: At least 1 year of employment references within the last 3 years must be on file prior to submission. Job Description: - Float between units as necessary.- On-call not required; weekends required (PRN).- Block schedules are required.- Patient ratios typically range from 1:2 to 1:4.- Facility is a Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 staff beds.- All Registered Nurses wear Navy scrubs, and Registered Respiratory Therapists wear Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue.- Observance of work within a 50-mile local radius is expected, with local positions accepted at a lower rate.- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state.- Providers will be supplied with communication devices needed for duties or compensated for work-related communication use.- Orientation hours total 40 and are non-billable.- Must work 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
