Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting a hospitalist physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Our hospitalists work a 7 on 7 off schedule offering a consistent and flexible lifestyle.

In this role, you will:
Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illnesses or injuries.
Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patients medical records.
Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of Inpatient experience with a high degree of clinical judgment
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with a current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. OR Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP). Updated NCCPA certification for PA's. BLS and ACLS are required.
