Title: PATRIOT Technical Subject Matter Expert Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is seeking a highly skilled PATRIOT Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced guidance and support for United Arab Emirates (UAE) PATRIOT Air & Missile Defense systems Foreign Liaison Office located in Huntsville, Al. Reporting to the UAE PATRIOT Foreign Liaison Officer (FLO), the candidate will offer expert advisory services to the UAE PATRIOT program. This senior-level role requires extensive technical knowledge of PATRIOT systems, including their tactical application, interoperability, and air defense program management. The position is pivotal in supporting the UAE PATRIOT Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and involves working closely with the UAE PATRIOT FLO, SAMD, and the U.S. PATRIOT International Program Offices. Key duties include assisting with PATRIOT Weapon System fielding, maintenance, training, and coordinating programmatic, logistical support, and FMS Case Management. Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the UAE PATRIOT FLO, the PATRIOT Technical SME will: Provide expert advice on the deployment, initialization, and maintenance of PATRIOT systems at the operator and organizational levels. Advise on PATRIOT field and sustainment maintenance for UAE. Oversee and support the PATRIOT International Engineering Services Program (IESP). Supervise the UAE PATRIOT Missile Field Surveillance Program (FSP). Support UAE PATRIOT Life Cycle Management and material fielding strategies. Offer technical guidance on Tactical and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) utilized in PATRIOT batteries. Assess the effectiveness of the IESP and FSP programs. Assist the UAE FLO in analyzing data provided by the US Government. Contribute to the development and review of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Amendments. Document and report on discussions, positions, and decisions from FLO-US Government meetings. Required Qualifications: At least 10 years of operational experience with PATRIOT systems, including system deployment, maintenance, defense design, and training at the battery level or higher. FMS case management experience supporting FMS cases from LOR/LOA to case closure. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong presentation skills, with the ability to brief audiences of varying technical backgrounds. Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS approximately four times per year. US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build consensus and establish strong relationships with peers, leadership, and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical or relevant field. Cultural understand of the United Arab Emirates. Knowledge of PATRIOT Weapon System design, development, integration, and testing. Experience in technical leadership and/or program management within the PATRIOT Missile Defense system. Ability to excel in a dynamic, responsive, and collaborative environment, dedicated to supporting Government customers.
