Working as part of the FP&A team, you will be on the frontlines of maintaining and developing financial models for our various business units - with a focus on trading and protocol services. These models feed management reporting whose audience includes individual traders/teams and company executives. A candidate should be able to conceptualize the "big picture" and translate concepts into detailed tactical execution plans while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability and "grit" necessary to manage multiple high priority tasks.
What You'll Do:
Develop a deep understanding of Galaxy's various business lines (e.g. trading, asset management, mining, etc.)Update and maintain various daily, weekly and quarterly P&L reporting streamsUpdate and maintain FP&A models and reconciliations vs. other data sourcesLeverage python and SQL to support model development, build data pipelines, and automate workflows.Assist with projects translating Excel and python based models into automation requirementsWork with business units and FP&A team members to model new business requirementsProvide ad-hoc analysesWhat We're Looking For:
2-5 years' experienceExperience with financial models, business intelligence tools (python, SQL, Excel, etc.), projections and their mechanicsStrong analytical skills and experience working with large datasetsAn understanding of various asset classes (FX, futures, options, etc.) and how to navigate an income statement and balance sheet.Intellectually curious self-starter, comfortable in ambiguity and a fast-paced environmentHighly detailed orientedStrong appetite for problem solving in a high growth businessTeam player with a can-do attitudeExcellent communication skillsBonus Points:

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
Base Salary Range
$130,000-$150,000 USD
