Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator

to join our team. We seek a talented, creative Social Media Intern/Assistant to support our company’s social media efforts. You will be responsible for creating original text, still graphics, and short-form video content. Additionally, you will monitor posts, report campaign success, and research competitors. You should have good communication and basic copywriting skills.

This is a great opportunity for College students looking for an internship or recent grads with experience managing Social Media campaigns! Looking for someone int the DFW area.Responsibilities:Assist with the design and execution of social media campaignsManage overall social media presence across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websitesCreate and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outletsTrack social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalabilityPerform social media marketing researchAssist with influencer campaign strategyRespond to comments and DMs on social media platformsBrainstorm and research ideas for original contentCreate compelling graphics to share across social channelsWrite social media captions that speak to the company’s target audienceHelp create and edit short-form videosDevelop new strategies for increasing engagementAssist with photo/video content shootsEnsure the brand message is consistentRequirements:High School Diploma/GED requiredBachelor’s degree in digital communications or a related field such as advertising or Journalism preferred1+ years’ experience in digital marketing/social media marketingImpeccable oral and written communication skillsOutstanding online research capabilitiesMastery of the major social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap and Google+Familiarity with Canva/other design platformsKnowledge of social media analytics software, including Hootsuite, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performanceExperience with content management systems, word processor applications, and image/video editing softwareBasic copywriting skillsAbility to deliver creative content (text, image and video)Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint, in particular)Familiarity with content scheduling tools, like Hootsuite, Mailchimp, and Buffer a plusCompensation & BenefitsHourly rate: $20-23 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
