Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MDA SATCOM/Communications Network Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agencys Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Networks organization (BCN). The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of telecommunication systems. What You'll Be Doing: Provideengineering,technical,andprojectmanagementexpertisetoBCNtodevelopanddeployrobust,end-to-end, highavailability,testand operationalcommunication networks for the sharing of information across all MDS assets. Performsystems engineeringandintegrationto includeMilitarySATCOMArchitecturestudiesandlong haul communicationsengineeringand analysistoinclude:siteselections,sitesurveys,strategiccapabilitydevelopment,siteplanning, providingon-siteconstructionsupport, siteimplementationleadership,communications equipment selection, staging, installation, integration and testingmanagement. ProvidetechnicalanalysisofDefenseInformation SystemsAgency(DISA)provideddesigns. AssistthegovernmentwithoverseeingthePrimeContractorondevelopmentoftheBCN. Develop facilityrequirementsandparticipateinfacilitydesignreviews. Coordinatetheinstallationoffacilityrequirements. Facilitate working groups and technicalinterchangemeetings. Integratecommunicationsystemcomponentsintoalargersystem. Draft/brief information/decisionpapers/briefingsandstaffcoordination packagesforseniorleadership. Performassessmentsofdetailednetworktestdata. Travelupto 25%.? What Required Skills You'll Bring: Master's degree in STEM and 12 years of systems engineering related experience. ActiveSecretsecurityclearance. Experience with DoD terrestrial and satellite communication systems (MILSATCOM). Understandingoftelecommunicationsystemstestdata. Understandingoftherequirementsreviewanddesignreviewprocess. Understandingofhowrequirementsarefloweddownfromsystemspecificationstoelementsspecification? What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Active TopSecret clearance. Experiencewithradiofrequency(RF)andwaveformcommunicationssystemdesign. Tactical datalinks (TDL J, Link 11, Link 16) systems, encryption systems, precision timing systems (PNT), and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) desired. ExperiencewithMissileDefenseAgencyandDefenseInformationSystemsAgency(DISA)services. Experiencewithlarge-scaleconstructionprojectsaplus.
