As an Associate Accountant
Tax, you will work with the Manager, Corporate Tax on direct corporate tax matters supporting tax compliance, forecasting, and financial reporting.Job responsibilitiesTax CompliancePrepare federal, state and local income tax filingsPreparation of apportionment reports for state income tax filingsReview book to tax differences, including tax depreciation for a capital intensive businessASC740 / Other ProjectsDrafting responses to tax notices and tax audit information document requestsIdentify process improvement initiatives to streamline and increase efficienciesPerform special projects as needed (e.g., ASC740 support, tax forecasting, international tax filings, etc.)QualificationsBachelor's degree required, with a major in Accounting or Finance1+ years of experience in income tax or accounting, title flexible based on candidate experience levelAbility to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting prioritiesCPA certification preferredWHAT YOU WILL GET IN RETURNTrainingOpportunity to advance your skillset and careerFlexible work environmentCompetitive Medical and Dental BenefitsMatching 401(k) program AND defined benefit retirement planCommunity service opportunitiesPhysical Requirements:-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
