Creative Financial Partner has partnered with a global manufacturing firm based out of Rochester, NH to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join an organization who values their employees and looks to promote from within. This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days/week in office.

  • The Position: Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a vital role in our client's corporate close and consolidation activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Additionally, you will contribute to internal and external SEC reporting.
  • The Opportunity: The Senior Accountant is a stepping-stone position within the organization. This highly visible role offers variability and complexity with unlimited growth potential.

The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Support and contribute to company-wide month-end close activities.
  • Assist with internal and external reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings with the SEC.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Execute various SOX controls and assess process risks that may require enhanced internal controls.
  • Play a key role in the SAP system conversion to SAP S4/HANA.
  • Assist with new accounting and integration activities that may arise from significant transactions.
  • Take ownership of specific technical accounting topics, researching, interpreting, and applying accounting guidance.
  • Analyze current procedures and recommend more efficient and effective practices, actively collaborating on process improvements.
  • Liaise with both internal and external auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA license or in pursuit of a license highly desired.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related work experience in progressively complex and responsible roles.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including SEC reporting regulations and SOX.
Salary Range:

$90,000 - $115,000
