Summary

The Electrical Engineering Co-op will work January 2025 - June 2025 onsite at our Lockport, NY office. This position will support the development and fabrication of electronic devices and supporting hardware / wire harnesses.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create Electrical / Electronic Schematics
  • Create PCB designs
  • Package / build electronic devices, test stands and related hardware
  • Design / build electrical wire harnesses
  • Assist in the maintenance of parts crib inventory
  • Support testing / debugging activities

Qualifications

  • Previous internship not necessary but a plus
  • Extra-curricular engineering clubs or hobbies are a plus
  • Circuit Design knowledge a plus
  • Schematic Capture knowledge a plus
  • PCB Design knowledge a plus
  • Packaging knowledge a plus
  • Electronics Hardware Building (soldering, fabrication, etc.) knowledge a plus
  • Wire Harness Fabrication knowledge a plus
  • Use of laboratory equipment (ex. scopes, meters)
