Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Associate:
- Assisting with the accurate and timely preparation and review of federal and state tax returns.
- Preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions and coordinating external auditor reviews.
- Facilitating IRS income tax audits, including responses and schedule creation.
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicating their effects, and formulating strategies to capitalize on taxation changes.
- Ensuring accurate and timely filing of consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns.
Qualifications of the Senior Tax Associate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification or in process of obtaining
- 2+ years of relevant experience in tax consulting and compliance within a public accounting firm.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
