Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• The Staff Accountant will perform monthly, quarterly and year end close. Collaborate with the finance team to take charge of the closing process, including preparing journal entries, reviewing general ledger accounts, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to deadlines.
• Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing accurate and reliable data for analysis and decision-making purposes.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, including recording transactions, reviewing entries for accuracy, and resolving any discrepancies in inventory or otherwise.
• The Staff Accountant will complete bank and account reconciliations as needed with the assistance of the associate accountant.

Requirements of the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting, with a focus on inventory reconciliations and month-end close procedures (+)
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Excel
