Experienced Audit Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and operational duties as needed.
• Assist with the proposal process and business development cycle.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for customers.
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliation for the company.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for customers and the company.
• Assist with audit, review and compilation engagements for customers.
• Support the preparation of tax returns, calculations and research for tax customers (i.e. income tax, sales tax and other).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilize accounting software to input, track, and report financial data.
• Conduct research on technical accounting, tax and audit issues and provide recommendations.
