Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Handle full-cycle accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
- Assist with audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients and management based on financial analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
