$70 - 80K + 1.5x paid out after 8 hours of work each day

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the industrial manufacturing industry looking to hire a Field Service Engineer! This position involves a 50% in the office in, 30% day travel, and 20% overnight national travel split. Any hours over 8 in a day count as OT x 1.5 so plenty of potential for extra earnings.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of field service experience
• machine tool industry or grinding equipment industry
• Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematics
• Strong Mechanical troubleshooting skills – experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, assemblies and sub-assemblies, changing motors, etc.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills – this person should know how to install, replace and troubleshoot sensors (fluid-based sensors, magnetic sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, etc.), relay, servomotors/drives, and basic PLC understandings
