Overview of the Senior Tax Manager Role:

• Prepare, review, and file individual, trust, and estate taxes for clients
• Communicate with clients regarding necessary documentation and details; some local travel is required, none overnight
• Perform bookkeeping and monthly closing tasks for clients
• Act as a team lead with other tax staff members

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Tax Manager Position:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance; MBA, CPA preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in tax accounting; public accounting background preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software
• Highly effective interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize deadlines
