Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- The Senior Accountant will prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions
- The Senior Accountant will assist with budget variances
- The Senior Accountant will assist with review and analyze the general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial information
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare monthly pay apps/billing
- Identify areas of process improvement
- Support internal and external audits
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3 years of public accounting or 6 years of GL accounting experience
- CPA (+)
- Job costing/Construction accounting preferred
