Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Corporate Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters including entity formation, commercial contracts, and legal issues.
  2. Leading and managing complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt offerings, equity offerings, and restructurings.
  3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and legal documents.
  4. Providing exceptional client service, including regular interaction with clients, understanding their needs, and providing strategic legal advice.
  5. Leading teams and taking on significant responsibilities within the firm.
  6. Participating in business development training to help grow the firm's client base.
  7. Ensuring legal compliance across all corporate activities and providing legal assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Corporate Associate position will have:

  1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt offerings, equity offerings, and restructurings.
  3. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and legal documents.
  4. A strong track record of client interaction and exceptional client service.
  5. Excellent legal research and legal writing skills.
  6. A detail-oriented approach, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
  7. Experience in leading teams and taking on significant responsibilities.
  8. A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
  9. A strong understanding of legal compliance and experience providing legal assistance.
  10. The ability to thrive in a collegial environment and contribute to the firm's growth and success.
