ABOUT THE COMPANY
- Our client is a leading international Law Firm! Notably the firm is recognized for it's pro bono services
- This role would be operating remotely and reporting into the accounting manager! May need to go into the NYC office every now and then, however majority of the time remote!
- There is a really fresh perspective that's been brought to the firm over the past few years! Very progressive and there is a lot of growth going on for the firm!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT
- The Senior Staff Accountant will handle a high volume of credit card reconciliation back log
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- The Senior Staff Accountant will also handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
- Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.
- Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- General Accounting
- Strong reconciliation experience!
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
