Senior Project Accountant

Location: Mount Vernon, NY (Full-time, onsite)
Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience)

We're seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee job site accounting functions, assist with reporting, and support the Division Controller in meeting financial and contract requirements.

• Manage job site accounting, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Process and review invoices, accruals, and monthly billings
• Reconcile contract statuses and monitor back charges
• Work with Project Managers and other teams to maintain accurate commitments and budgets
• Setup and maintain Job Cost Master Files
• Prepare various reports including Total Job Cost and Weekly Labor Reports
• Assist and train job site personnel on accounting procedures and systems
• Conduct monthly site visits to ensure compliance and provide training

• BS/BA in Accounting or related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of JD Edwards (preferred)
• Experience in construction accounting (preferred)
