TAX MANAGER - 100% Remote

CFS is engaged with a local CPA Firm seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing team as a Succession plan to current ownership.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Reviewing Individual, Corporate, Non-Profit, & Trust tax Returns; signing off and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Managing, coaching, and mentoring team of (7) direct reports
• Lead any technical research needed
• Inputs of your own tax returns, time permitting
• Help drive the growth of the firm - i.e. - Bringing on new clients

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE TAX MANAGER:

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or equivalent education
• CPA Required
• 10+ Years of Tax experience; 3+ years in Management, Leadership, & Development
• Prior Public Accounting experience
• Experience with SAGE, QuickBooks, Drake Tax Software, MS Excel
