RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT
- The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, bank recs, cc recs, and accounting reconciliations
- The Staff Accountant will also assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- Responsible for payroll (internal & external)
- Responsible for overhead AP entries
- Assist the controller with cash management potentially
- Assist where needed in other areas of the business
- Software package: Viewpoint is highly preferred but not required!
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1+ years General Accounting
- The Staff Accountant should have a strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
