RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANT
- Responsible for preparing property tax, local, state and federal
- Review sales & use tax
- Gather all necessary financial information/reporting
- Process improvement to maximize tax efficiencies
- Review Tax compliance
- Stay up to date with changing tax codes and accounting standards
- Complete reconciliations, journal entries and closings as needed
- Assistance with budgeting and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANT
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- 2-5 years' experience in tax accounting
- Experience in public is a plus
- Experience with Oracle or SAP is a plus
