Job Title: Controller
Location: Circleville, OH
Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000

Our client is a leading organization in the services related to construction, maintenance, and operations of their customers gas, telecom, and water facilities. They are looking for a Controller to add to their Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains and develops system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of accounting controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results
• Manages and forecasts cash flow, based on upcoming projects, expenditures, investments, and tax liabilities'
• Conducts monthly financial project review meetings with respective project management team's and reviews yearly audit and preparation of tax returns by external CPA's
• Analyzes and manages the process for work in progress (WIP) reporting and closing process
• Responsible for oversight of the full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable process as well as assists in the completion of billing with the project management teams
• Performs margin analysis on projects for improved cost management and increased profits
• Creates and analyzes financial reports and ad hoc reporting as required
• Serves as the management liaison between the project accounting team and the project management team and other internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of accounting reports and proper communication
• Any other financial tasks required by Senior Management or ownership
• Interface with Board of Managers, Lenders, and Stakeholders accordingly
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to lead and motivate a high performing management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
• 5+ years of construction accounting experience
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 2 or more individuals
• Proficient in a construction ERP software
