OVERVIEW OF THE COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:
- Lead discussions with project managers to review project financials, including cost performance, and identify items that are over or under budget.
- The Cost Accounting Manager will manage monthly project forecasting, ensuring accurate projections for a 9-year project and tracking P&L impacts.
- Analyze and report on cost variances, trends, and financial performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- The Cost Accounting Manager will provide accurate and timely cost accounting data for budget tracking, financial reviews, and forecasts.
- The Cost Accounting Manager will ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and controls.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Construction experience a plus!
*Salary $85,000- $100,000 depending on experience.
*This position is fully on-site in Saxonburg, PA.
