Job Description
This role requires a high level of analytical and communication skills, plus an understanding of financial modeling. This is an opportunity for someone who is really looking to have ownership over the budgeting/forecasting process for this mid-sized, high-growth organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages financial forecasting process
- Manages the budgeting and reporting process during the year
- Works with functional department heads to identify spending plans and how they relate to the budget and forecasting
- Develops and manages the internal forecasting and budgeting models used to run the business
- Generates the monthly and quarterly reporting packages along with the quarterly board deck
- Assists in implementing new best practices around internal processes
- Assess market dynamics and growth opportunities
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years analysis experience managing corporate or divisional budgeting/forecasting process
- Superior knowledge of Excel and financial statement relationships
- Strong business acumen and cross-functional team experience
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills
- Proven ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced environment
