Director of Finance Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team to support rapid growth.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and deliver comprehensive financial reporting to the board, investors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Oversee financial operations, including payables, collections, payroll, and related functions.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs.
- Prepare the annual budget and rolling quarterly forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the management team by providing analytical support for key decisions.
- Develop and maintain a robust Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard for management, the board, and investors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, and insurance providers, ensuring compliance and fostering growth.
- Manage tax planning and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 5+ years of proven success in management and leadership roles.
- Recent experience in a fast-growing, investor-backed company.
- Strong proficiency in Sage Intacct or other large ERP systems.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- CPA designation is highly preferred.
