Job Title: Registered Nurse - Adult Services Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours from 06:45 PM to 07:15 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience preferred License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program- Ability to respond by 11/09/2024 Job Description: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.- Monitor, analyze, and perform patient assessments for complex patient situations.- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per outlined care plans.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive care plan for patients.- Educate patients and families on healthcare needs, conditions, and options.- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.- Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.- Two years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred.- NIH Stroke Scale Certification and CCRN preferred.- Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent preferred.
