Senior SAP FICO Analyst

Job Summary This role is responsible for translating business requirements into SAP ERP functionality via the SAP Configuration IMG. Collaborates on all phases of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) with a focus on analysis, design, and development. Must continuously maintain and develop necessary skillsets, both technical and analytical, to enhance value-added business solutions. Duties and Responsibilities Supports the request and analysis phases of SDLC by assisting with documentation and estimates. Acts as a subject matter expert in one or more functional areas, developing strong business and system knowledge. Troubleshoots incidents reported against IT applications and assists in investigating issues. Coordinates and provides thorough end-user training on all SAP systems. Keeps apprised of current trends in the business marketplace and provides input on business unit technology strategies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Possess strong analytical skills to assess business processes and application functionality. Comprehends technical design specifications and stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies. Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate their role, project goals, and timelines. Has a working knowledge of COBIT5 based IT Governance and Management framework or other structured industry standard methodologies.
