About Mount Carmel Dublin:Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:14-bay emergency department10-bay observation unit30 acute inpatient beds4 operating roomsLevel 1 cardiac capabilityAdvanced imaging, and other outpatient testingAttached MOBThe attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:Primary Care, NeurologyCardiologyVascularOther independent specialistsMount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann's located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. You deserve to get paid every day!About the Unit:The surgery department at Mount Carmel Dublin will have four operating rooms, 1 GI procedural room, a non-invasive cardiac lab, and a cardiac and interventional radiology suite. Multiple service lines will be supported at this campus including robotics, general, GYN, urology and orthopedics. This campus will provide great surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurse leaders that display excellent teamwork and collaboration.About the job:The Registered Nurse (RN), within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Staff RN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.What you will do:Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practice; Assists provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments; Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a provider, including set up of procedures.Administer medications under the direction of the provider, according to the organization's standards, policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.Assist in emergency situations under the direction of the providerThoroughly educate and explain procedures to patients and family members (diagnosis, disease process etc.).Document accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate.What we are looking for:Graduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of OhioCurrent BLS/CPRDemonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care teamBasic computer skills required; prior experience using an EMR for charting preferredMount Carmel and all its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity employers.
