Job Summary EHR Clinical Application Analyst support the assigned clinical application(s) and are knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations and coordinate all issues that arise during installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and upgrading for their application area. Essential Functions Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Develops content and documentation tools for implementing systems changes and other tasks and provides input for training materials Performing indepth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with application Populates own databases during initial system build and assists in software code upgrades Serving as a liaison between end users, third parties, and vendors Troubleshooting problems and questions from end users Analysis of application content and negotiation of any user requested modifications Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): Understanding the choices involved in application configuration Developing / documenting procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree AND Experience: Previous work experience in a clinical setting as a clinician in nursing, lab, pharmacy, radiology. Previous work experience in information systems or healthcare IT preferred Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements: Employment is contingent upon obtaining Epic certification within 3 attempts during the probationary period.
