Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist Job Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 5x8-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active IL license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Board Certification in Internal Medicine Job Description: - Position involves performing all aspects of interventional cardiology.- Procedures include cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EKGs, echocardiograms, STEMI management, and temporary pacemaker placements.- Role is 100% inpatient and requires comfort with patient care in this setting.- Support from a group of 8 cardiologists is available.- Role involves inpatient rounding and weekend call.- Use of EMR system EPIC is expected.- COVID vaccination and booster are required.- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days.Please note that travel and lodging expenses are covered by the client.
