In this role, you will operate a variety of cranes (crawlers, friction, hydraulics, RTs, etc.) in commercial, civil, or marine projects. The ideal applicant has extensive years of experience as a crane operator and maneuvers equipment in a safe manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate and maintain various construction machinery including cranes, fiction cranes, hydraulic cranes, etc.Always follow McCarthy's safety policies and under no circumstances by-pass or deactivate any safety featuresIdentify and communicate hazards, and danger zonesPerform daily inspections and Monthly Boom Down inspections, bringing all safety issues up to site managementAssist with the creation of critical lift plansSafely lift and carry loads by using proper equipmentPerform or ensure the 8 hour/shift greasing requirements are completedAlways maintain crane cab and job site cleanCompletes Crew Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs dailyQUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience operating cranes in commercial, civil, or marine construction projectsMust have all the required certifications and trainings to operate the equipmentMust know and understand crane functions, limits, safety features, and how they will affect the cranes operationKnow and understand all hand signals as per ASME 830.5Read and understand load chartsIdentify and use common construction materials, hand tools, and power/electrical toolsUnderstand construction terminologyProven commitment to SafetyWork in an organized mannerAble to work night shifts when neededMust have reliable transportation to/from the job siteAbility to work independently and follow instructionsMust be self-motivated and can work well with othersAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyAbility to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 poundsAbility to squat, crawl, and work in confined spacesMinimum age 18+Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
