IGT Welder

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation repairs, services and parts has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. Working within a team environment, this position is responsible for the operation of welding equipment and performs assembly and disassembly of gas turbine engine components using work instructions, tooling, and general instructions.RESPONSBILITES:Create quality welds according to specifications.Inspect welds for accuracy.To perform welding, grinding/blending, measuring back to dimension.Prepare product to be welded by routing out defects. Able to blend welds.Change wire, welding, as needed.Change gas tanks, as needed.Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying, and moving of all finished products to the proper location.Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.Operate forklift, if required and trained.Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.Perform simple maintenance and repair as required.All other duties as assigned by your manager.
