Dassault Falcon Jet is building a state-of-the-art flagship Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB) in Melbourne, Florida. Dassault Flacon Jet will serve customers across North and South America and beyond, the complex will accommodate all current Falcon models, (including the new, ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, the largest purpose-built business jet), and will be capable of performing major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models.Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL is seeking a full time Quality Control Inspector / NDT for our Melbourne, Florida facility. The Quality Control Inspector / NDT will perform Quality Control Inspections and Level II NDT examinations in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current and Penetrant Methods in accordance with NAS 410. In addition, this role will be responsible for performing inspection of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness, providing the approval for return to service with respect to the work performed (if authorized), performing aircraft maintenance (including inspection), preventive maintenance and alteration and assist customers with technical and operational support relative to the customer's aircraft. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent NDT technical courses, NDT Diploma, or documented Military experience in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current or Penetrant methods Shall possess an FAA A&P Certificate or can possess an FAA Repairman Certificate from the FAA under FAR Part 65Minimum three (3) years' experience relating to NDT Inspections and Evaluations to include Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current & Penetrant Methods. At a minimum, be capable of passing Level II examinations in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current and Penetrant Methods in accordance with NAS 410Must be able to provide supporting documentation of previous work experience and certification as set forth by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)Pass vision testing, minimum 20/20 corrected in accordance with NAS 410Excellent written and verbal communication skillsADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Previous Falcon ExperienceIntermediate level proficiency in Word & Power PointValid Passport for potential international travelPrevious experience / knowledge of airframe structuresPRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):Maintains complete knowledge of the work scope Performs non-destructive testing per applicable maintenance manuals, procedures, and written instructions Verifies technical data acceptable to and/or approved by the FAA, has been used to provide inspection and approval for return to service with respect to work performedEnsures all documents and records meet regulatory requirementsEnsures corrective action(s) provides for complete correction of discrepancy per Regulatory requirementsIs responsible to Quality Assurance on all work performedMust be able to travel to locations other than Repair Station's fixed location to support customer work scope and training Reports to the Responsible Level III on technical mattersAdheres to general work and safety requirementsAssists other employees in the performance of their duties with areas of qualificationPerform inspection of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness, providing the approval for return to service with respect to the work performed (if authorized)Perform aircraft maintenance (including inspection), preventive maintenance and alteration and assist customers with technical and operational support relative to the customer's aircraftNON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):May perform inspection of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness, providing the approval for return to service with respect to the work performed (if authorized)May perform aircraft maintenance (including inspection), preventive maintenance and alteration and assist customers with technical and operational support relative to the customer's aircraftOther duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS:Possible hangar and ramp environments with variable temperature rangePossible extended hours and travel related to job dutiesProfessional interaction with employees, customers and vendorsWork in or near Industrial hazardsMust be able to lift to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationMust be able to walk long distances, climb, and kneel for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodationOccasional travel required (up to 10%)
