Weekly Pay Range - $2159 To $2398 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CVICU, Critical Care (CCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Colorado RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; PALS preferred, but not required Must-Have: Strong CVICU skills, willingness to cross-train to pediatrics, and ability to care for intermediate care patients and float to med-surg if needed Job Description: - Provide critical care nursing in CVICU and CCU settings.- Participate in a weekend rotation and call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period as needed.- Administer care to patients, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.- Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.- Stay informed of the latest advancements in critical care nursing and integrate them into day-to-day practice.- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.- Fulfill a minimum experience requirement of one year in Med/Surg in an acute care setting and two years in RN Critical Care. - Prepare and provide patient education and support when necessary.- Administer the flu vaccine with no exemptions, as required. Available to travelers during their assignment.This role involves working in a facility with a bed size ranging from 50 to 149, utilizing Meditech electronic medical records, and covering holiday shifts as needed.
