Salary: $180,000 - $240,000 per year

We are a fast growing Series A startup with over $20M in funding building something big with data and AI looking to build out our engineering team with top-tier talent. We are open to candidates who are willing to work hybrid in San Francisco, New York City or Los Angeles (we have offices in all three locations).

This Staff Software Engineer will help scale and optimize our data infrastructure. You will work on enhancing our knowledge graph, improving our data storage, and managing our time series data. You would also be mentoring other engineers and drive tech decisions that directly impact our customers. We source, transform and index terabytes of data, build models to make sense of the data, and build product experience to facilitate users.

What you will do in this role:

• Scale our systems to handle huge volumes of data
• Work on performance, scalability, and observability
• Collaborate on improving how we store and process time series data
• Use ML tools to generate better insights from our data

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years experience in scalable systems
• Proficiency with streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience with data storage (SQL, NoSQL, key-value)
• Willingness to work on hybrid work (3 days in office) – flexible between NYC, LA, or SF areas
