Responsibilities:
As a Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing company-wide financial planning and analysis, including cash flow, upstream oil and gas operations, and BOLO.
- Leading the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conducting complex financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations that influence strategic decisions.
- Managing the revenue reporting process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.
- Overseeing consolidations and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Collaborating with other departments to analyze business performance, operational efficiency, and financial trends.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory accounting functions and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Using advanced Excel skills to develop financial models and forecasts, and to analyze financial data.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the Energy industry.
- Proven experience with cash flow, FP&A, upstream oil and gas, BOLO, consolidations, financial analysis, revenue reporting, monthly close, quarterly close, and regulatory accounting functions.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, including the ability to create complex financial models and analyze large data sets.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards in the Energy industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence strategic decisions and lead a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems and databases. Experience with BOLO is highly desirable.
