Salary: $80,000 - $145,000 per year

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:
- Oversee the design and execution of large-scale solar PV projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, PVcase and HelioScope for project design and optimization.
- Conduct detailed electrical system designs, including single-line diagrams, equipment sizing, and selection.
- Collaborate with various teams including construction, procurement, and operations to ensure project success.
- Review and approve technical documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Continually identify opportunities for process and product improvements, and lead the implementation of these initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven large-scale solar PV engineering experience.
- PVIP certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD, PVcase, and HelioScope.
- NABCEP certification is a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of solar system components and design.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to travel as needed for project requirements.
