Dental Hygienist
Comfort Family Dentistry, Cohoes, NY, United States
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings to identify oral health issues
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in NY
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
