This individual will be responsible for the sales and market growth of the Agronomy area of AGRILAND FS. As an Agronomy Sales Manager, you will lead, guide, and educate the AGRILAND FS sales and support team through trainings and in the field experiences.Core Responsibilities:Provide marketing and sales leadership for the Crop Specialists and location teams.Establish performance standards, goals and development/implementation of business plans for achieving company financial objectives.Provide proactive leadership for training/developmental plans that improves marketing effectiveness and serves as foundation for Certified Crop Advisor and Certified Crop Specialist certification process.Utilize appropriate sales administration practices and reporting process for the purpose of measuring progress towards specific objectives with the use of CRM toolsIdentify and implement best practices which lead to strong financial performance and outstanding customer service.Provide input for company marketing, operational, business and procurement strategies and program development.Manage agronomy and seed pricing policies and utilizes risk management programs to maximize gross and service income.Assist in providing technical information for agronomy, seed sales and marketing.What we need from you:Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agronomy Business or equivalent thereof, plus 5-7 years' sales experienceStrong sales and leadership experienceKnowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection productsKnowledge of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecastsSales leadership and demonstrates closing techniquesAbility to build relationships, identify producer needs and make multi-product proposalsProfessional communication skills, customer service, interpersonal, presentation, and persuasion skillsPlanning, time management and organizational skillsAbility to be self-directed, make decisions, and work in a team-oriented environmentMust have and maintain a valid driver's license.
