True to our name, our experienced team is passionate about helping oncology practices navigate the future.The Director, Clinical Research & Strategy executes innovative strategies for programs and products to enhance Cardinal Health’s clinician facing business. The role manages the research, business cases, development, and launches of programs and products in a portfolio in line with the strategy set by the leadership of the Navista business pillar they report in, including Clinical Trials, Precision Medicine, Genomics and others. This job works with a large degree of independence and may provide guidance to less experienced professionals.The role reports to the Chief Medical & Development Officer of Navista.ResponsibilitiesLeads analysis of market research, trends, projections and innovations to formulate concepts for new programs, solutions and services. Collaborates with Operations, Product, Technology and Business Development teams to integrate commercial, customer, and technical perspectives.Responsible for development of annual and multi-year program strategic roadmaps for a portfolio of clinical programs and services in alignment with Navista strategy.Responsible for the execution of programs, maintaining ongoing clinical leadershipAccountable for business cases for new programs, services or solutions based on market and customer research. Creates Return on Investment (ROI) forecasts, expense budgets, and profit goals for a given program/product/service first 1-3 years after launch. Presents business cases to the senior management of the business unit.Engages with member practices, physicians and other cliniciansLeads clinical representation for RWE, HEOR, BioPharma as requestedAccountable for relationships with key vendors/suppliers required for strategic developmentProvides guidance to less-experienced professionals and may have roles reportingParticipates in industry conferences, other industry events in order to promote Navista’s products and services and to stay abreast of market developments.Leads special projects as requestedQualificationsAdvance Degree (MBA, RN, PA, NP, Pharm.
