LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a litigation paralegal to join our clients team at their office in Edmonds, Washington. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of litigation experience and be proficient with both the state and federal court rules.

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a litigation paralegal to join our clients team at their office in Edmonds, Washington. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of litigation experience and be proficient with both the state and federal court rules.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare legal documents for attorney review, including complaints, answers, disclosures, motions, orders, and other pleadings or discovery materials
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including tracking documents produced/received, identifying needed documents, and preserving privileged materials as directed by attorneys
- Assist with motion preparation, including motions for summary judgment, verifying deposition citations, assembling exhibits, and creating appendices
- Prepare various litigation materials such as key document notebooks, motion notebooks, chronologies, cast of characters, deposition notebooks, and identifies deposition exhibits
- Coordinate docketing, scheduling, and filing of court documents, including independent e-filing in compliance with federal and state court rules
- Maintain familiarity with court procedures and local rules to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive litigation checklist for active cases and tracks outstanding tasks, instructions, and deadlines, ensuring attorneys are reminded of key court dates
- In-depth knowledge of court procedures, local rules, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain litigation checklists and manage deadlines effectively
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of discovery, including document tracking, privilege preservation, and case organization
- Strong experience drafting and preparing legal documents
- Expertise in coordinating docketing, scheduling, and filing, with the ability to independently e-file in federal and state courts
- General technology competence; PracticeMaster/TABS experience preferred
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional client service
